Universal Studios Hollywood does Digimon

Universal Studios Hollywood becomes control central for Digimon Weekend when the characters from the hit series Digimon: Digital Monsters make their first-ever group appearance and unveil an exclusive, limited release Digi-Battle game card on Saturday, September 2 and Sunday, September 3. A limited release Digi-Battle game card featuring Goldramon will be created exclusively for the event and given to children attending the Digimon Weekend. The Goldramon game card will be retired immediately following the Universal Studios Digimon Weekend. During the weekend event, guests can meet and have their photo taken with eight of their favorite Digimon characters during 20 minute sessions scheduled from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Appearances will include Tai, Mimi, T.K., Agumon, Gatomon, Biyomon and Metel Greymon. A special guest appearance will be made by Veemon, a new Digimon from the second season of Digimon that debuted August 19th. Other Digimon Weekend highlights will include a special Digimon Munch Lunch with Digimon characters at Universal’s Castle Theatre. Three seatings, each for 200 guests, will take place at 11:15 AM, 12:30 PM and 1:45 PM. Munch Lunch ticket reservations, priced at $12 for adults & $9 for children, will be sold at the event.
